Barnsley v Hull

Barnsley made sure it will go to the final day after beating a Hull City team pushing for the Premier League relatively comfortably at Oakwell.

Mellis and O`Grady grabbed the goals for the reds in a 2 - 0 victory.

The reds now face Huddersfield on Saturday knowing what they need to do. A win at Huddersfield will guarantee survival, defeat will send the reds down and a draw will mean nervously looking for the other scores to find out our fate.

Mellis fired Barnsley in to the lead after only four minutes with a sweet strike that rattled the underside of the crossbar.

O`Grady doubled the advantage five minutes after the restart with a low shot into the bottom corner.

On the evidence of this game it was hard to see which side was where in the table and this win could prove vital for a confident performance at Huddersfield.
