Cardiff v Barnsley

Barnsley travel to league leaders Cardiff hopeful of a result following a good point at Palace albeit wearing the Crystal Palace away kit.

Vital Quotes:Flicker (on the Place match)

I think the experience of Stephen Foster and Bobby Hassell marshalled Glenn Murray really well which you have to do, he is the best striker in the league.

Cardiff Team News:

Cardiff will be without striker Fraizer Campbell who has a shin problem.

Matt Connolly is a doubt after limping off in the 0 - 0 draw with Watford.

Player to watch: Bellamy

He has always caused us problems when he`s played against us.

Barnsley Team News:

The reds are hoping that Kelvin Etuhu will be fit after picking up a knock against Palace.

Martin Cranie could be fit to return.

I expect Flicker to put out the same team that drew at Palace and not risk Cranie but if he is fit he will come on to the bench for Jones.

Player to watch: The old men Foster and Hassell

They will need to play how they did at Palace if the reds are to get a result.

I'd take a point but like you say, anything can happen in this division.

I said a while ago when we were all discussing how many points it would take to stay up...I said it might be 55 point and I haven't changed my mind, those two wins you mentioned could be the games to do it...and on form, we could and should beat Charlton and Derby, but it's never that straight forward in this league...having said that I'm more confident than ever, that we'll be ok now.

It never is staright forward. Two winable home games after two great away results. I'm fairly confident but also cautious. I remember having two winable home games against Ipswich and Peterborough after hammering Birmingham. We are a different animal all together now but neither game will be easy.
