Bradshaw In Team Of Midweek (17/2/17)

Barnsley are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week's action.

The performance by Tom Bradshaw in the three one victory over Aston Villa in midweek at Villa Park was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we'll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Bradshaw was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice - the FL blurb read.

'Barnsley bumped into a couple of old flames at Villa Park on Valentines Day, but it was all about Bradshaw as the Tykes heaped more misery on Aston Villa. The striker grabbed two goals in the 3-1 win, leaving the Villans winless in eight matches.'

It's always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Bradshaw for his recognition, but the most important thing about the game was of course the points.

Full Team:

Luke Daniels (Scunthorpe United), Enda Stevens (Portsmouth), Peter Clarke (Oldham Athletic), Vincent Sasso (Sheffield Wednesday), Jake Buxton (Wigan Athletic), Jason Demetriou (Southend United), Kadeem Harris (Cardiff City), Jimmy Smith (Crawley Town), Gavin Massey (Leyton Orient), Tom Bradshaw (Barnsley), Billy Kee (Accrington Stanley).

Manager - David Artell (Crewe Alexandra).
