Steele Deal Complete

Steele Deal Complete

Barnsley goalkeeper Luke Steele has joined Greek Champions League side Panathinaikos.

Steele leaves the club for free due to clause in his contract which allowed him to leave for free if the club were relegated. The clause also included a considerable salary reduction if Steele remained at Oakwell.

Steele has been a great servant for the club and I would like to wish him all the best for his future career. I would love to see him playing the Champions League next season.
