Digby Signs New Barnsley Deal

Digby Signs New Barnsley Deal

Barnsley midfielder Paul Digby has penned a contract extension until the summer of 2017.

Digby is still only 18 and has a big future with the reds if he can overcome his recent injury problems.

Again this is great business by the club (a phrase I`ve not been used to saying over the years), it ties down a young lad with bags of potential.

If he develops as expected then he will be a real asset and help to take the club forward and there could also be a time when the club have to cash in.

If this time does come then the good news is that the club won`t be held to ransom and they can get what the player will be worth as they did with Stones.

Yet again more good news to come from Oakwell this summer, let`s hope they can make it count on the pitch and let`s have the fans behind the team. COYR.
