Cranie Signs Barnsley Contract

Martin Cranie has put pen to paper on a two year deal to remain at Barnsley.

Cranie made 41 appearances last season and scooped the players` player of the season award after an impressive first campaign with the reds.

The Cranie deal means that there is now only Luke Steele left to decide on his future.

Having Cranie for two more years is great news for the club and he is my signing of the season so far.

Cranie told the official website that there was never any doubt that he would be coming back, well he certainly made us sweat a bit but it was the worth the wait.

Are the rest of the reds fans as pleased as I am with this news?

Amazing news. Such a great player, and glad he's at Oakwell for another 2 years.

DF has worked his magic once again, just Steele to go now, but all the players are buying into the new (forward thinking) club vision, just hope more of the fans can join into what the management team are trying to do...hopefully more good signings to come..? on another note, looks like Stead and Hamill have signed for Huddersfield.
