McNulty Signs 1 Year Deal

Jim McNulty has signed a new 1 year deal with the club.

McNulty had a great start to his Barnsley career, winning the players player of the year in his 1st season after signing in 2011. Last season McNulty`s playing time was limited due to a drop in form and also injuries.
I think this is a good deal for both the club and the player, with the Reds short on centre backs at the minute and McNulty`s inconsistent performances a 1 year deal seems a good decision, Hopefully McNulty can rediscover the form he showed in his first season and not that of last season.

What do Reds fans think about McNulty re-signing?

Not exactly jumping for joy. If he has another bad season, he needs releasing. We do need to buy a defender or 2 though and start playing Andrai Jones regularly, 'cause he was good when he played.
