A Slight Worry

A Slight Worry

So the loan deadline has now passed and Barnsley failed to land their targets of a left back, centre back and John Stones.

It wasn`t for the lack of trying on David Flitcroft`s part but at this time of the year teams don`t want to let players go and some players don`t want to come to Barnsley to be in a relegation scrap.

It`s a slight worry that we didn`t get any reinforcements for our back line but we are from down because of it.

The group we have at the moment is capable of Championship survival but I like many Barnsley fans will be expecting a nervous end to the season.

i guess fans will be dissapointed at the lack of arrivals, but the gaffer knows the squad is good enough to get us out of trouble, you only have to check the stats since the turn of the year.if we can keep injury and suspension free, then we have a great chance.its all about how we perform, if we are up for it, then we are capable of beating anyone in this league, home or away !!!

I think we can still do it and I believe in anything from this squad under Flicker. The lads have done great since the turn of the year. It is dissapointing not getting anyone in but at least this set of players now get the chance to keep us up.
