Reds Sign Knight

Reds Sign Knight

Barnsley have signed former Newcastle player Dennis Knight on a contract until the end of the season.

The 19 year old was released by Newcastle without making an appearance and could not agree a deal with Hartlepool last month.

I`m told that he is a midfielder so I think this could be a one for the future signing if that is the case with amount of players we have in that area.

Definitely someone for long term rather that for now, but I'd be more concerned that we get a decent defender (or two) added to the squad, as we've got some very tough games to come and our defence is a big worry at present!

I might get a bit worried if we don't get a defender in.
