'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sir Bobby

Bobby Hassell has revealed there is a deal in place for another year at Barnsley should the reds stay in the Championship.

This will be great news to reds fans who want to see Bobby rewarded for his fantastic service to the club.

Hassell came off the bench to score the winner against Watford and give Barnsley three vital points in their bid for Championship survival. It was great to see him on the score sheet as well as contributing at the other end of the pitch as he can always be relied upon to do.

Hassell has also recently said that the teams current run of form, since Flitcroft took over, is the best they have shown at any point in his nine years at Oakwell.

Let`s hope the reds can keep this run going and stay up in the Championship where we belong.

I have every faith in this group to get the results. My only worry however is that all of the other teams fighting for their lives are also on form.

One thing for sure is that it promises to be an exciting and nervous end to the season.
