Upcoming Fixtures Of Relegation Candidates

Here at Vital Barnsley We take a look at the upcoming fixtures of those threatened with relegation.

Looking at the table I do feel any of the bottom 10 could be pulled in with how results are going. We will look at fixtures up until the end of march.

Charlton Safe
Burnley H
Peterborough A
Huddersfield A
Millwall H
Bolton H
The Addicks current site on 43 points I am sure from these 7 games they will pick up a minimum of 7 points thus meaning 3 more from April and May. Cant See them getting Pulled in.

Bolton Looking Ok
Peterborough H
Barnsley A
Blackburn H
Brighton H
Ipswich A
Charlton A
Massive game for Bolton on Tuesday night against Posh, I feel that a win would stand them well, defeat could see them pulled in. Personally I would love to see a draw

Birmingham Could Be Dragged In
Hull A
Blackpool H
Derby H
Middlesbrough A
Crystal Palace A
The 3 points which The Blues picked up at London Road and Saturday look so big now. They have a tough March and I dont feel they will pick up moe than an handful of points.

Blackpool Could Be Dragged In
Bristol H
Birmingham A
Watford A
Peterborough H
Blackburn A
Quite unknown under Ince Senior. If it was not for Ince Junior they would be doomed! Big Month for the seasiders.

Sheffield Wed Candidates
Forest H
Watford A
Leicester A
Cardiff H
Barnsley H
The Yorkshire derby on the 30th could be a massive 6 pointer, looking at the fixtures and gap all indications are that it will be massive game.

Ipswich Candidates
Leicester H
Forest A
Peterborough A
Bolton H
Leeds H
I expected Ipswich to pull away though they are deep in this battle, If they lose next saturday they will Bang In the Battle.

Huddersfield Strugglers
Burnley A
Brighton A
Middlesbrough H
Charlton H
Leeds A
Hull H
Under Robins I expect them to struggle they will not win more than one of the above, though I do expect them to draw frequently.

The Super Reds Candidates
Bolton H
Burnley A
Brighton H
Watford H
Shaff Wed A
I am hoping that we can get a minimum of 5 from these games, though I hope for 7 points. Flicker has given us hope and we are a form team.

Wolves Strugglers
Watford H
Millwall A
Forest A
Bristol H
Middlesbrough H
If they lose their next two I hope they will be without any confidence at all and this could put them deep in trouble. I would give them 6 points from the 5 games

Briston City Doomed
Blackpool A
Brighton H
Middlesbrough H
Wolves A
Derby A
Beating us on Saturday has given Hope, However I cant see anymore than 5 points from these games.

Peterborough Strugglers
Bolton A
Blackburn A
Charlton H
Ipswich H
Leeds A
Blackpool A
Cardiff H
Massive month for Posh with 7 games I feel they are a decent side and will pick up some points but not enough, I give them 7points from 7.

My Predicted bottom 10 at end of March
Charlton Played 39 Points 51
Bolton Played 39 Points 49
Blackpool Played 39 Points 46
Birmingham Played 39 Points 46
Sheff Wed Played 38 Points 44
Ipswich Played 39 Points 44
Barnsley Played 38 Points 43
Huddersfield Played 39 points 43
Wolves Played 39 Points 41
Peterborough Played 39 Points 38
Bristol Played 39 Points 38

I don't want to guess and know we only have to worry about ourselves, however I thought I would give an overview.

Would we be happy on 43 with 8 to play???

Every game from here on in is a "cup final", so we'll need every point we can get...I just hope after Saturday, the lads can pick themselves up, because Bolton certainly won't be easy after their demolition of Hull, and there's no easy games from now to end of season!

I'm sure Flicker can pick the lads up. The fans reaction to this defeat is important and we need to get behind the team from the kick off on Saturday.

We might get something against Wednesday because you never know in derbies but I can't see a single point coming from the other fixtures.

With Englebert every game is a cup final. 52 is my magic number and will ensure safety. 50 is a fighting chance.

Hide the rope, Tony's back!

It will give me no pleasure to be proved correct at the end of the season.

jesus, i didnt realise the owls fixtures, i think, blackpool, maybe b`ham and below are the candidates. i dont fancy huddersfied, wolves, wednesday maybe in bother yet as could be blackpool, the bottom 2 could get out yet.

It could go down to the wire with a handful of teams still in with a chance of the drop.
