'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Even the U21s Hammer Leeds

Barnsley U21s recorded a comfortable victory over rivals Leeds just as the first team do.

Victories at home to our West Yorkshire neighbours are almost as certain as there being 24 hours in a day.

The reds won 3 - 1 against a Leeds team under the control of reds legend Neil Redfearn, with goals from Tomasz Cywka, Toni Silva and John Rooney.

The only negative for Barnsley was that Scott Wiseman had to leave the field injured but he should be fit for Saturday`s trip to MK Dons in the FA cup.

The Barnsley team was Lidakevicius, Wiseman, Kilburn, Scott, Jones, Clark, Patterson, Silva, Rooney, Cywka, Rose.

Always nice to hammer Leeds even though it means nothing compared to league one football next season.

Wiseman injured as well. I don't want to wish anyone injuries or anything but let's hope it keeps him out for a while. From listening to Flicka it sounds as though he will back in the team soon ruining what little chance we have of stopping up.

Tony are you a wind up merchant, or are you really that miserable..?

All my mates say I'm miserable but I think I'm relaistic and don't like getting my hopes up to be dissappointed.
