Flicker Looks To Scotland

It is believed that the new gaffer is considering a move for Jason Scotland. However it is believed that others are also interested these include Doncaster, Dundee United, Wolves and Colchester United.

Scotland had his contract at Portman Road ended yesterday by mutual consent, and is now looking for another club.

Scotland now aged 33 was prolific in his days at Swansea city and was rewarded with a move to the premier league joining Wigan Athletic. Things did not work out for Scotland under Roberto Martinez and he left Wigan having netted just once in 32 games.

Scotland played a lot for Ipswich under Paul Jewell, however it appears that Big Mick was not too keen on the big tobagian.

For me he brings much the same as Marlon Harewood, do any of you feel any different?? Scotland did average a goal every 2 games from 2005 until 2009, but has since struggled.

Lets keep looking or dip into the loan market!

He might just get him in on trial first before committing to anything.

Would Sc bring anything to the table??
bantambondy
If he struggled to get into Big Mick's first team plans, then the chances are he's past his best, unfortunately.
Engleberthumbertyke
He probably is past his best but unfortunately for us they are the type of players we have to take a chance on as we can't attract anyone decent to the club.
chiefred
True Chief, sadly we're in a no win situation with regards to recruiting decent players (at the moment).
Engleberthumbertyke
I fear it we will be in this situatuion for a very long time.
