Rotherham In For Hassell

Rotherham are rumoured to be monitoring the position of Barnsley defender Bobby Hassell.

The Millers are preparing to make a loan move for the out of favour defender to help their promotion push in League Two.

Barnsley fans would hate to see Bobby loaned out but at the moment he is not in the manager`s plans and it could do him good to go out and get some games under his belt.

From a Millers point of view - could be a good move for Hassell - and wouldn't be bad for the Millers either if Claude Davis turns us down

I think he'd do a cracking job for the Millers. He'd be quality in League Two. I suppose it just depends if he wants to stay at Barnsley and fight for his place or drop down with more hope of regular football. If your trying to get Claude Davis I reckon you will only come in for Hassell if you fail to land him.

Can't see it happening now they've got Davis. If he does go out on loan it'll be no worse than league one. I think we need to keep him as cover though for defence and possibly midfield with Dawson out.
