Significant Sunday For Super Reds?

Don Rowing has said that announcement is imminent around the Oakwell Hotseat. They are so many permutations the Board could look to and they may have a surprise for us!

Flicker and Micky Mellon have done a good job and I do feel that Flicker would be a good appointment. The other option looks to be Craig Hignett and Ronnie Branson.

Personally I feel that if it was to be flicker we need a former red at his side. The main business reason for this would be passion and throughput into the stadium.

Its business critical for the club that attendances raise by 15 -20%. This would profile the club and enable Cryne to get the sale. I also feel that the appointment of a former Red would help in putting the club back at the centre of the community.

Flicker has improved his chances with the performances and does appear to the have backing of most of the club. But does he have the backing of the powers that be?

Hignett would be a concern as a number one, no record. Though he is the most gifted footballer I have ever seen at Oakwell.

Please not megson!!!!
