Permission Granted

It has been confirmed that Inverness Caledonian Thistle have given Barnsley permission to speak to manager Terry Butcher.

The board have stated that they will meet up with Butcher within the next 48 hours to begin talks.

For me he isn`t the right man for the job. He has done well at Inverness but I don`t think he has the experience required of the Championship and of managing in English football.

I think there is still a good chance that he will turn us down as well. We are not an attractive proposition to most managers out there and I am becoming more and more worried.

I can still see us being manager less by the time we play Leeds and if last Saturday`s performance is anything to go by we will be in for a good hiding.

I agree. Wasted Journey with the price of fuel. I would want my fuel paying. Once he lands at Oakwell at is told. £5 a week for you £30 week per player. Butcher picks up the pen and says I am sure we can stay up paying players 30k a week. Don and Paddy look at each other, the are intimidated by the big center half. Maybe we should tell tell him now. Look T "Maybe you have misunderstood, its £500 per week for you and 30k per year for the players. Big Butch bangs their heads together and wheelspins art of the tarn.

Like that Oldtime but I'm afraid it's probably how it will go. We'll end up with Flicker for rest of season.
