'If It's Football, It's Vital'

4 on Shortlist

News coming from Oakwell is that there are four leading candidates for the vacant role of Barnsley manager.

The club are unwilling to name names at the moment but we at Vital are lead to believe the four men the reds have on their radar are Sean O`Driscoll, Gary Megson, Kevin Blackwell and Nicky Butt.

Nicky Butt is the only inexperienced one from that selection so I very much doubt that it will be him but I could see the club moving for any of the other three.

The board are hoping to have the new manager in place in time for the Leeds game. If the board are hoping so then the fans will be demanding so. There is no time to mess about here, the new manager needs to be installed well before the Leeds game.

The three were O'Driscoll, Blackwell and Megson. It looks like Butcher now.
