Trio Doubtful For Millwall

Trio Doubtful For Millwall

Barnsley are set to be without Jacob Mellis, Akos Buzsaky and Reuben Noble-Lazarus for the trip to Millwall.

Mellis still has a dead leg, Buzsaky a hamstring problem and Noble-Lazarus an ankle problem.

Those three missing starves the reds of a bit of creativity in midfield, something that has been a problem all season.

The return to fitness of David Perkins and Jim O`Brien is a boost for the reds and their extra energy in midfield is something we have badly missed.

Both of those have to play and have to be two of the first names down on the team sheet if the reds are to get out of this mess.

In a different slant to previous weeks instead of saying the team I would pick I`m going to tell you what team Hill will pick. Reds fans tell me if you think I`m right and who you would change from this team.

Obviously Luke Steele will be in goal. At the risk of angering some fans I think Hill will bring Wiseman in at right back at the expense of Stones. Stones has been up and down of late and it seems a bit much for someone so young at the minute. He will keep the unmoveable Goldbourne at left back and stick with Foster and Cranie at centre half.

The midfield will be in the diamond formation once more with Greening holding, Dawson to the right, Perkins to the left and O`Brien in behind Tudgay and Davies.

On the bench Alnwick, Hassell, Stones, Harewood, Sinclair, Done, Silva.

I`m reliably informed of this (or so I think) unless any of those three are deemed fit enough to play apart but who would you pick?
