Steele Recalled
Barnsley boss Keith Hill has decided to recall Luke Steele to Barnsley starting line up for today`s trip to Hull.
Alnwick had a nightmare against Forest last week and his confidence was clearly shot after a number of errors leaving Hill with no choice but to restore Steele in my opinion.
This will also please the majority of the Barnsley fans as there weren`t many who didn`t want Steele back in goal as was shown with some of the appalling chanting at Alnwick last week.
Alnwick for the most part did well in the absence of Steele and is a decent back up keeper. But Steele is easily the best keeper at the club and one of the top keepers in the Championship.
Barnsley`s next priority must be to get Steele to put pen to paper on a new contract before being forced to sell another top player for peanuts in the January sales.
