Barnsley general manager Don Rowing has revealed that the club have been approached by prospective investors about a possible takeover.
Several parties have made their interest known to Rowing but an offer as yet to be made. Rowing would not be drawn on the names of who the interested parties might be.
Saturday`s 5 - 0 thrashing of Birmingham will hopefully inspire the interested parties to make an offer and inject some cash in to the club who continue to work wonders on one of the lowest budgets in the Championship.
In the end nothing may come of the interest but the prospect of the club having some cash to spend will certainly get the fans talking.
