Perkins Injured

David Perkins became yet another victory of Barnsley`s injury jinx during the 3 - 1 defeat at Wolves. This is another blow to the already depleted squad.

Barnsley boss Keith Hill is hoping to be able to bring in another player on loan before the weekend as the reds are now down to 13 fit senior players.

Players on the injury list include Perkins, McNulty, Done, Mido, Silva, Edwards, Stones, Digby and O`Brien.

Hill has never witnessed such a long list of injured players during his time in football and especially with the season being only 3 games old.

If a loan signing isn`t in before the weekend then the talented youngsters in the academy will make up the squad for the trip to Brighton. Hill has no problems throwing them in but doesn`t want to have too many in at once and have the pressure on their young shoulders.
