Dagnall to Tranmere?

I hear on the grapevine that Chris Dagnall is in talks over a move to league one side Tranmere Rovers.

Dagnall`s opportunities at Barnsley have been limited since his arrival last season. He failed to make his way to the first team and ended up out on loan at Bradford City.

Dagnall was signed by Hill but it seems his chances for next season will be even more limited with the arrivals of Mido, Mellis and Etuhu.

Maybe he`s not quite up to Championship football but it has been hard for me to form a full opinion of him with how little time he spent on the pitch at Oakwell.

From what we saw of him last season Dagnall didnt exactly look like Championship quality, however its hard to judge that on a few substitute appearances so maybe a prolonged run in the side might have brought more out of him, at the end of the day he at least put a shift in, more than can be said for Gray!

I know a few fans who would disagree with you there. Although most would say Gray was never the best player to pull on the red shirt. Most seem to think he always put a shift in and gave his very best.
