Squad Review 2011/12
Rightly given the player of the year award from the Barnsley fans after another excellent season. His shot stopping ability is second to none and his all round game has improved enormously since he came to the club.
He now commands his box and comes off his line at the right times. His mistakes were minimal and possibly as low as any goalkeeper in the country.
Barnsley must try and hold on to him at all costs but there is a chance that the big clubs could come knocking with an offer the club can`t refuse (which is usually well below their value).
I now rate him as Barnsley`s most valuable player, particularly with Butterfield`s impending departure.
My rating for him for last season is 9/10.
