"Shezza" enjoyed a great start to this Career with Barnsley as he played a vital part in the heart of midfield with Redfearn to help his team gain promotion. He was later surplus to requirements and moved to Wigan Athletic. He spent two years there before having spells at Oldham, Clyde, St Johnstone & Barrow. Sheridan then turned to managing at Barrow but announced only a couple of weeks ago that he would terminate his contract by mutual consent due to personal reasons.
