Steele Injured

Steele Injured

Barnsley Goalkeeper Luke Steele has been ruled out with an abdominal injury. The club are still unsure of how serious the injury is and how long it will keep him out.

This is a big blow for the reds in their fight to stay in the Championship.

Steele has been in fine form all season and is rated one of the finest keepers in the Championship.

An injury to understudy David Preece means the club have had to act in the loan market once again.

Tottenham goalkeeper David Button has been brought in on a loan deal until the 15th April.

In a more surprising move given the injury crisis at Oakwell, Chris Dagnall has been allowed to join Bradford on loan in order to get some games under his belt and find some form to make an impression on the reds first team.
