'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Another Quality Interview

Keith Hill`s interview on radio Sheffield last night was a journalists dream. Funny and witty to say the least.

But he did also raise some serious issues regarding the club that were ignored due to the nature of the interview and the banter that was going.

Asked if it was the time of season when he could look at players for next season, Hill didn`t seem amused. The realism is Barnsley`s recent form and some daunting upcoming fixtures could drag them towards that relegation struggle.

Hill knows that he needs to approach every game with one goal only - to get three points.

He also expressed the view that he was devastated and appalled with his win percentage record this season and cannot understand why someone with his recent record is being linked to other jobs including Premier League sides like Wolves.

Reading, the form team in the division, will be difficult to overcome at Oakwell on Saturday. If reports from our neighbours in Doncaster are correct we will certainly struggle.

Doncaster were all at sea with Ian Harte`s delivery from set pieces and defending them certainly isn`t strength of ours.

We desperately need to get some points on the board in the next few games; unfortunately I think Saturday will take an unbelievable effort to do so. Keep the faith.
