8 Out Of Contract Summer

8 Out Of Contract Summer

8 players are out of contract at Oakwell in the summer. These are Jacob Butterfield, Andy Gray, Stephen Foster, Jim O`Brien, Jay McEveley, Nathan Doyle, David Preece and Ally Taylor.

Hill has already publicly stated that he expects Butterfield to leave the club but what of the others.

And Gray has said he is willing to take pay cut in order to secure another contract with the reds.

Nathan Doyle has said he expects to leave the club which is highly likely as he isn`t part of Hill`s plans when everyone is fit and available.

We fully expect Stephen Foster and Jim O`Brien to be offered new deals and stay.

Of the others we don`t think Ally Taylor will be offered a new deal.

Jay McEveley, a lot will depend on his form for the rest of the season and also the form of Scott Goldbourne, who still hasn`t settled in to the Championship. This one could go either way.

We are also unsure on Preece. This is another that could go either way. He is ageing now and a lot will depend on how highly rated the youngsters are at the club, if anyone else is available cheap and if any bids come in for Luke Steele.
