Reds Sign Golbourne

Barnsley FC have completed a deal to sign Exeter left back Scott Golbourne. A fans favourite with the league one side, Golbourne came through the ranks at Bristol City before a move to Reading where he had numerous loan spells before settling on the Devon coast. Described as an energetic, forward thinking left back, Golbourne will provide competion for the out of form Jay Mceveley who has struggled in recent weeks with fans boo-ing him in the last home game.

BBC Radio Sheffield also report that Keith Hill has gone back in with a second offer for Leyton Orient skipper Stephen Dawson, which has been accepted.
