FOXES - DRINKWATER

After running Leicester ragged at the weekend on-loan midfielder Danny Drinkwater is expected to complete a move to the foxes before the weekend.
City manager Nigel Pearson developed good links with Drinkwater's parent club Manchester United, in his time at Hull City with the signings of Corrie Evans, James Chester and Robbie Brady.
Now it looks like Barnsley could lose arguably their most influential midfielder following the season ending injury to Jacob Butterfield. Drinkwater is reported to have already signed a contract until 2015 but reds manager hasn't given up hope. Speaking to the official Barnsley FC website Hill said 'We have tried to persuade Danny to stay until the end of the season, but you can't deny the deal that will be on offer at Leicester, never mind the fee'.
Let`s hope for Danny's sake that moving to a team with a lot of money, doesn't turn out the same as the last time he did this. A move to Cardiff City in 2010-2011 resulted in him being used sparingly, with much of the time sat warming the bench.
