'Keeper Extends Stay
Barnsley's back up goalkeeper David Preece has signed a one year contract with the club.
The new deal will keep Preece at Oakwell until the summer of 2012.
He joined from Danish side OB in 2009 and has made just seven appearances in two seasons for the Reds, thanks to current Reds number 1 Luke Steele being in top form, playing in every single minute of last seasons fixtures.
It looks unlikely now that the Reds will follow up the reported interest in ex-Exeter shot stopper Paul Jones.
