Morecambe To Visit Barnsley

The First Round draw for the Carling Cup has been made and Barnsley have a home tie with Morecambe to look forward to.

The Reds were paired up with the Shrimpers while Blackpool travel to Hillsborough to face Sheffield Wednesday and Bradford City get a local derby with Leeds United at Elland Road.

Last season the Reds were knocked out in the first round of the Carling Cup at home to Rochdale, with Keith Hill's former side running out 1-0 victors.

All the ties will be played in the week beginning August 8th 2011.
