Robins Favourite For Blades Job

With all the recent strange events at Oakwell going on, Barnsley supporters have been left clueless by the club as to what's happening.

Some bits have been pieced together from various news reports telling us that Mark Robins has had his contract at Barnsley terminated but the club and Robins are yet to comment on the story that's set the fans buzzing today.

Vital Barnsley understands that the club will make a statement tomorrow to clear things up after it emerged through the BBC that they were parting company with Robins.

Whilst it's looking bleaker and bleaker for Robins future at the club, Vital Barnsley has been checking on betting odds for the Sheffield United managers position being filled.

This afternoon Vital Barnsley emailed Skybet to request odds on Mark Robins becoming the next Sheffield United manager as he wasn't one of the 29 candidates listed.

Within 20 minutes, Mark Robins' name appeared as fourth favourite at 8/1.

Within an hour this price was cut to 4/1 and the latest, last checked at 22:50 has seen him jump to hot favourite at 1/2.
