Shack's Back!

Shack's Back!

Barnsley's captain Jason Shackell is back in contention for the squad for tonight's match against QPR at Oakwell.

Shackell was missing from the fold due to injury on Saturday when the Reds defeated Bristol City 4-2. Paul McShane and Stephen Foster picked up the central defensive duties in the captain's absence.

You'd expect Shackell to come straight back into the first team line-up as club captain but this will mean that McShane or Foster will lose their place.

McShane probably holds the upper hand in terms of favour with Mark Robins, due to his headed goal on Saturday and Foster's foul on Adomah that gifted Bristol City a penalty in the last few minutes of the game.
