Barnsley Sign Haynes

Barnsley have completed the signing of young forward Danny Haynes from Bristol City.

The 22-year-old forward has been in talks with the Reds for a couple of days and Barnsley have announced that the deal is complete, with Haynes penning a two and half year deal at Oakwell for an undisclosed fee.

Haynes has lightning pace and an eye for goal which sounds like an ideal replacement for Adam Hammill, who completed his move to Wolverhampton Wanderers today.

Congratulations must go to the Mark Robins and the club, for moving swiftly to replace Hammill.

Haynes will go straight into the Reds' squad for the match at Oakwell on Saturday when Barnsley entertain second placed Swansea City in the Npower Championship.
