Reds Could End Grant's Reign Again

Barely three years after Barnsley shocked the footballing world by knocking F.A. Cup holders Chelsea out of the competition at the Quarter Final stage, the Reds come up against an Avram Grant side in the same competition again.

The result practically put the seal on Grant's sacking from the West London club, with the Blues winning no silverware at all in the 2007/08 season under his guidance.

Kayode Odejayi rose highest in the Chelsea box to nod in a Martin Devaney cross in the 66th minute, completing the 1-0 result to send Barnsley to the F.A. Cup Semi Final at Wembley.

Now, Grant, in charge at Premier League strugglers West Ham, is on the verge of dismissal again, according to reports after the Hammers lost 5-0 at Newcastle United last night and if he is still at the helm on Saturday, would surely need to produce a result against Championship outfit Barnsley in their F.A. Cup Third Round clash at Upton Park in order to have any hope of keeping his job.
