Miller Signs For Barnsley

After leaving Lincoln City, Kern Miller has signed for Barnsley this afternoon.

The 19 year old defender left Sincil Bank today after his contract with Lincoln City expired and has signed for Barnsley straight away.

A product of the youth setup at Lincoln, Kern has made one appearance for the first team, but Mark Robins sees him as a player of potential. He told Barnsley's official site: 'Kern is a player with a lot of potential. We are looking forward to helping him develop and hopefully fulfill that potential here at Barnsley. I am delighted that he has joined us.'

Miller joins Garry O'Connor as Barnsley's second capture in this transfer window and the Reds can now turn their attention to finding a replacement for Adam Hammill, who looks certain to leave before the end of the month if not the end of the week.
