Hammill To Wolves?

Rumours amongst Barnsley fans suggest that Adam Hammill has signed for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

There has been no end of speculation on his future since the beginning of the season, but the hype has reached fever pitch lately with all sorts of Premier League clubs names being tipped to take him off our hands.

One time Barnsley favourite and Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Mick McCarthy was spotted in the Oakwell crowd this afternoon, watching the Reds defeat Coventry to claim their 1000th win at second tier level of the Football League, which has fuelled murmurs that Hammill will be signing for the midlands based club.

At the end of the match, Hammill also seemed to linger on the pitch applauding the fans, as if to bid them farewell.
