The Return Of GOC

It's been one of the longest weeks of the season for Reds fans, with the squad missing Garry O'Connor but tomorrow sees his official return to Barnsley.

The Scottish hitman had two loan spells at Oakwell and scored three times in nine appearances, prompting Mark Robins to sign him on a permanent deal in January.

However, due to what Robins described as an anomaly, he has been unavailable for Barnsley's last three matches and the Reds haven't managed a win without him, after having gone five games unbeaten.

Robins may have a selection headache however ahead of tomorrow's visit of Coventry City, with Andy Gray putting in a sterling performance against his former club on Saturday, capping it off with a goal.

With one or two more additions this month, the Reds can really start to push up the table and spark their season into life.
