Deal In Place For Hume
Preston North End have confirmed that a deal has been agreed for the transfer of Iain Hume to their club from Barnsley for an undisclosed fee.
Canadian international striker Hume has been on loan at Preston for the last few months and has gone on to impress at the club.
The news comes less than 24 hours after it was revealed that PNE boss Darren Ferguson had been sacked by the club.
Speaking to Preston's Official Website, club chairman Maurice Lindsay said: 'I am delighted that we have been able to come to a financial agreement with both Barnsley and Iain himself.'
Hume made no secret of the fact that he desired a permanent move to Preston North End and it looks as though all three parties have got the best out of the situation.
