Vital Barnsley Poll Result: Robins The Right Man?

Vital Barnsley Poll Result: Robins The Right Man?

It's one of the most important questions in football, hence the poll has been running for quite some time on the Vital Barnsley site.

A few weeks ago, Vital Barnsley posed the question 'Is Mark Robins the right man for the job?' in the form of a poll to gauge your opinion on the tenure of the Tykes' top dog.

Through a lengthy sticky patch when it looked like we would never win again and into a really purple patch with 10 points from 12 and two clean sheets, you have been casting your votes and the results are in!

21% of the votes said that 'The jury's still out' and that Robins needs more time to prove himself.

11% of the voters don't think that Robins is the right man for Barnsley.

However a resounding 68% of you believe that Mark Robins is the manager we've been crying out for.

What will be very interesting is to see what the result of the very same poll is at the end of this season.

If we finish in the bottom half or even get relegated, how many will change their vote?

Will a play-off place finish change anyone's minds?

We'll see in 5 months' time. Meanwhile, you can vote on the next Barnsley poll, which poses a question about the Tykes' midfield pairing.
