Andy Gray Tons Up For Barnsley
It's been a long time coming for Andy Gray but he finally smashed in his 100th club goal this afternoon as the Reds ran out 3-1 winners over Nottingham Forest at Oakwell.
Gray enjoyed a good pre-season and carried that form into the beginning of the season for Barnsley, scoring a brace in the dramatic 3-3 draw with Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
A dip in form and the arrival of Gary O'Connor on loan from Birmingham City saw Gray drop in the pecking order for a short while, but when O'Connor returned to his parent club, Gray stepped back into the side and tucked away a penalty to double Barnsley's 1-0 lead after Dexter Blackstock had felled Goran Lovre in the area.
Congratulations to Andy for reaching the magical 100 but secondly for coming back into the side and doing the business.
