Barnsley Re-Sign Trippier

Mark Robins has once again plunged into the loan market to bring in Kieran Trippier from Manchester City.

The highly rated young defender was already on Mark's shortlist having had a loan spell at Barnsley at the end of last season.

Kieran joins Barnsley on a loan deal until January with a view to a loner deal.

He provides adequate cover for Bobby Hassell at right back for the Reds and Mark Robins was excited to bring him back to Barnsley. He told the club's official site: 'Kieran is a very highly-rates right back and our supporters saw glimpses of that during his time here last season.'

Mark Robins' transfer activities are far from over however, with the club's number 9 spot still yet to be filled.
