Barnsley's third signing came in before the end of May in the form of Serbian midfielder Goran Lovre, who looks very exciting.
June came and went with no new announcements as far as signings were concerned, but Robins had a plans that came to fruition in early July, with Liam Dickinson joining the Reds from Brighton & Hove Albion.
One day later, Jason McEverley followed, signing for the Reds after leaving fellow Championship side Derby County.
Barnsley's latest signing is a season long loan deal for Stoke City's Uruguyan International Diego Arismendi, who joined the Potters from Nacional for £2.5m. He was being cited as a replacement for Hugo Colace before the midfielders incredible U-turn to re-join the Reds.
Robins' next move was to sign Argentine striker Jeronimo Neumann on a one year deal after a trial with the Reds.
