Owls Back At Oakwell

Despite relegation from the Championship on the final day of the 2009/2010 season, Sheffield Wednesday will still get to visit a Championship club's ground this year; when they come to Barnsley.

Mark Robins' new look side will warm up for the new season this summer with visits from Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday 27th July after the visit of Huddersfield Town on Saturday 24th July.

The Reds have also planned trips to York City and Chesterfield to gear them up for another season of Championship action.

The visit of Sheffield Wednesday will surely be the highlight of the pre-season programme for both clubs, with the Reds set to give the Owls a taste of Championship quality, whetting their appetite for promotion straight back from League 1.
