Ol' Mack Won't Be Back

Ol' Mack Won't Be Back

After a two and a half year stay at Barnsley, striker Jon Macken will be moving on to pastures new in the summer.

The former Republic of Ireland International has been told that his contract will not be renewed along with fellow ex-Derby County defender Darren Moore.

Macken, 32, joined Barnsley in January 2008 on a permanent deal after a successful loan spell, penning a year's extension in the summer of 2009.

Robins announced that Macken will not be staying with the Reds on the club's official website today, along with a few other suprises.
