Barnsley Career:

Jon Macken originally joined up with the Reds on loan from Derby County in November 2007 and impressed Simon Davey enough to earn a contract.

He was last season's joing top scorer with Jamal Campbell-Ryce on 10 goals.

He signed an extension to his deal last year until this summer and has chipped in with 5 more goals this season.

A prolific goalscorer in his youth, Jon has improved his all round game with age and his hold up play, although it often goes un-noticed, is one of his best attributes.

To date, Jon has made 109 appearances for the Reds scoring 22 goals.
