Barnsley and Plymouth have met regularly since Barnsley`s promotion back to the Football League Championship and the Reds have begun to claw back the record with four wins from their last six meetings.

The highest scoring game between the two teams came in 1935 when Plymouth beat Barnsley 7-1. It is also, unsurprisingly, Plymouth`s biggest win over Barnsley in history.

Barnsley`s biggest victory was a 4-1 win at Oakwell in 1950 which the Reds were on the way to repeating back in November last year, before the match was abandoned due to heavy rain.
