Potter Signs Again

Young Barnsley defender Luke Potter has signed a contract extension at Oakwell to prolong his stay with the side that he began his career with.

20 year old Potter is an academy graduate who stands 6 feet four inches tall and has impressed with his appearances this season. He was part of the team that shut out Cardiff City last weekend in the Reds professional 2-0 win and also helped the Reds through the first round of the Carling Cup with a clean sheet against Lincoln City in August.

He may be seen as a direct replacement for the able but ageing Darren Moore who is struggling through and injury at the moment.
