Poll Result: Barnsley's Final Position This Season
A week ago Vital Barnsley began polling your votes on where you think Barnsley will finish in the table in the current season.
Your votes are in and it`s an overwhelmingly popular opinion that the Reds can finish in the top half of the table this season. 68% of votes cast suggest that you believe the Reds have what it takes to finish above at least 12 other teams this season and do what they haven`t done since the reached the Championship Play-Off Final in 2000, finishing fourth.
The fans of rival teams and perhaps the cynical amongst you have conspired to put relegation in second position with 15% of the vote. 10% of you believe that Barnsley will finish in the bottom half of the table but safe this season.
Only 7% of votes cast say that Barnsley will achieve a Play-Off position this season but with 16 games left to play and only 7 points between us and the Play-Offs, it`s still a very real possibility.
