Doyle's A Red Again!

No, it's not Peter Doyle, the ex Barnsley Mayor who offered supporters a car park confrontation. Nathan Doyle has signed for the Reds on a free transfer from Hull City.

The 23 year old midfielder has penned a contract until the summer of 2012 at Oakwell, to the delight of his new boss Mark Robins: 'We are delighted to have completed a permanent deal to bring him back to the club.' he told the club's official website.

Doyle enjoyed a successful loan spell with the Reds from September to December in 2009, impressing in the heart of the Reds midfield. He should be in contention for a place in the squad on Saturday when the Reds face Sheffield Wednesday at Oakwell.
